Emily Rapport, originally from New York, is a Spring 2005 graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, with an emphasis on painting. She has participated in numerous group shows in Chicago and New York State. The distinctive brushstroke in her urban landscapes, portraits and self portraits suggests the influence of artists from Vincent Van Gogh to Lucian Freud.
