Sylwia Narbutt was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1978. She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw under Professors Leon Tarasewicz, Jacek DarzyÒski and Joanna Sosnowska. The post-modern sensibility of her work plays against its painterly quality.
