Todd Elliott was born in Champaign, Illinois in 1967. As a young adult, he relocated to the Boston area for college. In 2000 Elliott received his MFA from Rhode Island School of Design. He has participated in a number of group exhibitions throughout the Northeast, and recently won a chosen spot in the prestigious art publication New American Paintings (Tenth Open Studios Northeastern Competition). His primary medium is acrylic airbrush and spray gun on polycarbonate surfaces that he designs. He is clear about his interest in logos, typography and the transportation segment of culture.
